Paradigm Schools offers a variety of extra-curricular activities for scholars to participate in where they can apply the principles they are learning in their classes. Scholars play an active role in creating, planning, and executing many of the Paradigm activities. Paradigm provides opportunities for Scholars to lead, whether in our Scholar Congress or within their own classes. Often Scholars lead out in creating Scholar Clubs that provide learning opportunities and communities with other scholars who share similar interests. The following includes some of our many activities:
Scholar Congress is where scholars are able to propose and enact changes that have a direct impact on their school experience. Each Seminar class nominates representatives to represent their class and their interests within the body of Scholar Congress. This is also where school activities such as dances, Spirit Week, inter-class competitions, and other Paradigm traditions are planned and carried out.
Paradigm Schools allows scholars the opportunity to form clubs within defined parameters. Clubs are approved based on how the club fulfills the mission of the school. Please see Scholar Clubs in our Policy Handbook or in the Scholar Club section of this website for more details.
